Environmental Engineer
Description: Plans, designs, and oversees construction and maintenance
of structures and facilities, such as roads,
railroads, airports, bridges, harbors, channels, dams, irrigation
projects, pipelines, power plants, water and sewage systems, and waste
disposal units to solve environmental problems. Determines sources and
methods of controlling pollutants in air, water, and soil
Salary: $21- $31/hour
Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering
Recommended College Coursework: Science, Chemistry,
Engineering
Certification: E.I.T. fi Engineer In Training fi passed the National
Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) 8 hr
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
Experience Needed: Mid to High Level
