Geologist & Hydrogeologist

Description: Performs site characterization and analysis on
potential and ongoing CCS sites and works with other geologists
and hydrogeologists on field-related activities connected to CCS
monitoring

Salary: $58,500 - $85,000

Minimum Educational Requirement.: B.S. Degree in the field of geology,
hydrogeology, earth science or related field, with Master's or Ph.D. likely required for most positions

Recommended College Coursework: Geology, Earth Science,
Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math

Experience Needed: Mid to High Level, Experience in geology,
geologic sequestration, groundwater sampling activities and
hydrogeologic data presentation

Growth Potential: This is a new technology and growth
dependent on technology adoption and development. EDD
projects 30% overall growth in hydrologist jobs by 2016
