Description: Involved with preparing of specifications,
performance modeling and analysis, cost estimations and
negotiation of supply and service contracts for a company that generates renewable electric power

Salary: $90,000 - $140,000/year

Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor·s degree in Mechanical Engineering

Recommended College Coursework: Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energies

Certification: Professional Engineer (P.E.)

Experience Needed: High Level
5 years experience with boilers and steam turbines, vessels,
piping, valves, control systems, equipment and piping supports systems

Growth Potential: EDD predicts there will be 1,800 new mechanical engineering jobs by 2020
