Geothermal Sheet Metal Worker

Description: Perform all operations necessary to make, install,
and repair geothermal power generators

Salary: $14 - $22/hour

Minimum Educational Requirements: Apprenticeship or Trade School

Recommended College Coursework: Math, Mechanical Drawing,
Metal shop, Welding, Heating and Air-Conditioning

Experience Needed: Entry to Mid-Level Journey level status

Growth Potential: EDD predicts 1,800 new sheet metal workers
by 2016. Geothermal industry expected to be in higher growth
than some other renewable power sectors
